Green Day announces a bunch of worldwide tour dates

In what’s probably an attempt to prove that they’re still full of youthful energy and not whatever people in their 40s are filled with (dust and cobwebs, presumably), those unruly punks from Green Day have announced a bunch of new tour dates that extend their existing tour all the way through the summer. Basically, if you’re expecting to see Billie Joe Armstrong, Tré Cool, and Mike Dirnt playing golf, reminiscing about “the good ol’ days,” or doing any other boring things that old people tend to do, then you’re going to be very disappointed. They’ll be too busy playing punk rock and doing the sort of awesome stuff that young people tend to do instead.

This is all in support of Green Day’s latest album, Revolution Radio, and the band will essentially be on tour from now until mid-September, with only a month off in between a long European stretch and a long North American stretch. So, if you’d like to see Green Day in the next few months, you’ll probably get a chance. The full list of tour dates is below, along with a tour announcement video put out by the band.
