Greg Giraldo in critical condition after prescription pill overdose

The New York Post reports that comedian Greg Giraldo is in critical condition following an accidental overdose on prescription pills. Giraldo—known for his regular appearances on The Howard Stern Show and Comedy Central roasts, as well as his recent stint as a judge on Last Comic Standing—was “fighting for his life” yesterday after paramedics were called to revive him following a “wild party” in his hotel room. He is now said to be breathing on his own but remains under close supervision in a New Jersey hospital.
