Here’s what’s coming to (and leaving from) HBO Go/Now in December
December is going to be pretty big for HBO. Not only will it have the usual array of new and old movies for streamers to enjoy, but it will also be airing the season-one finale of new hit Westworld. If HBO can deliver a satisfying resolution to some of the show’s ongoing mysteries (like “how long can people stay in the park?” and “is that the guy from the Domino’s commercial?”), it could have the makings of another Game Of Thrones-like sensation on its hands. If not, well, at least HBO will have a bunch of movies you can watch.
Speaking of, December will see the HBO premieres of a few recent theatrical releases that people really enjoyed, including Keanu and Midnight Special. Plus, there will even be a few recent theatrical releases that you might’ve wanted to see but didn’t want to pay for, like Self/Less, Hail Caesar!, and My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2. As for movies that aren’t new, you’ll be able to check out They Live, The Green Mile, the original Big Fat Greek Wedding, P.S. I Love You, and Singles. Unfortunately, this will be your last chance to stream Eight Legged Freaks, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Snakes On A Plane, Scarface, and Jupiter Ascending.
Also, in addition to that Westworld finale, HBO will have the finales for Divorce and Tracey Ullman’s Show, as well as the premiere of the Pete Holmes special Faces And Sounds.
