Here's what's coming to Amazon Prime in April
It’s always nice when a streaming service is willing to step up and patch up the gaps in our cinematic résumé. Like, say, if your film critic friends have been telling you for months now that The Florida Project was the best movie of 2017, but you just never quite made your way to theaters to see it; Amazon has your back next month, announcing that the Willem Defoe slice-of-life project will be heading to its Prime Video library on April 1.
If you’re looking for something a little less enriching (and a lot more silly), meanwhile, fans of Donald Glover’s earlier work can check out the delightfully goofy Mystery Team, which he made with his old pals in Derrick Comedy. (Plus Spaceballs, Wayne’s World 2, and, uh, all three Fred movies, if your goofball appetite refuses to be filled.)
The service’s original offerings are a little lighter this month, admittedly; Bosch is coming back for its fourth season of Titus Welliver-murder-solving action, at least, while sports fans will be treated to the third season of Amazon’s sports doc series All Or Nothing, about the 2017 Dallas Cowboys.
