Heroes’ Adrian Pasdar will menace Supergirl next season

Heroes and Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. survivor Adrian Pasdar is adding another notch to his comic book-show belt, with The CW announcing that Pasdar will appear on the third season of Supergirl as the series’ latest villain. As newcomer real estate developer Morgan Edge, Pasdar will face off against both Kara Zor-El and the Luthor family, as he attempts to take hold of National City.

Pasdar isn’t the only actor with superhero experience coming to Supergirl this year, either; Alias star Carl Lumbly has also signed on for a guest-starring role as M’yrnn J’onzz, father of J’onn J’onzz, the Martian Manhunter. Lumbly is another one of Supergirl’s beloved legacy castings; he voiced J’onn himself in the DCAU Justice League.

All of these casting notices were revealed as part of the show’s panel at Comic-Con today, where fans also got more details on Odette Annable’s new “worldkiller” villain, Reign. They were also introduced to Jane The Virgin alum Yael Grobglas, as evil mind-reader Psi.
