Hey, remember gym mats? So does Literally Everything Else From Your Childhood: The Movie
With Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, Legos, and even Ouija boards all vying for their share of the nostalgia box office, the day when Buzzfeed gets a “story by” credit on a $200 million blockbuster movie can’t be too far off. Literally Everything Else From Your Childhood: The Movie, from alpha nerd Wil Wheaton’s Syfy show The Wil Wheaton Project, takes this concept to its logical conclusion, which is a movie with an all-star cast including cassette tapes, Lunchables, Donkey Lips from Salute Your Shorts, Furby, Floam, gym mats, blowing into a game cartridge, and hiding your boner in class. Now the only things left to be monetized are Skip-Its and peanut butter sandwiches with the crust cut off, both of which Michael Bay has probably already optioned so don’t even try it.
