Pancakes and superheroes make strange bedfellows in the world of Invincible. In this exclusive clip from the upcoming episode of the subversive animated series, the Graysons welcome an unexpected breakfast guest. Well, sort of. Debbie (Sandra Oh) appears to be the only one who didn’t know Eve (Gillian Jacobs) stayed over in Mark’s (Steven Yeun) room the night prior, and they spent the night, um, playing. Oliver (Christian Convery) is undoubtedly aware, and despite the many kicks from his big brother, he can’t keep his mouth shut about it.

Now in its third season, Invincible continues to give audiences the violent, superhero action-comedy they crave. Though a tad on the inconsistent side, the series can still wow viewers. In his recap of episode two, The A.V. Club’s William Hughes writes, “Now that is a hell of an episode of television. After the slightly slow, hour-long setup that was Invincible‘s third-season premiere, its second installment, “A Deal With The Devil,” is the punchline. And the bullet-in-the-brain line. The face-melted-by-poison-gas line. The torsos-chopped-in-half, jaws-crushed, heads-exploded-in-geysers-of-viscera line. This is Invincible in full not-fucking-around mode, and it’s absolutely exhilarating. All that and we get a big damn kiss. What’s not to love?”

The new episode of Invincible airs on Prime Video on Thursday, February 20.
