The story: S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Jasper Sitwell is ordered by his superior, Blake, to retrieve a Chitauri gun left over from the attack on New York in The Avengers, currently in the possession of a young couple using the weapon to rob banks. Sitwell captures the pair in their hotel room and—defying Blake’s orders to “neutralize them”—hires them to work for S.H.I.E.L.D., at least in part due to the young man’s ability to get the otherwise inoperable Chitauri tech working.

Noteworthy events: First appearance by Titus Welliver’s Blake. The recovered Chitauri gun is implied to serve as the basis for the Hydra tanks that show up in Age Of Ultron. Also, Lizzy Caplan and Jesse Bradford play the robbers. Hi, guys!
