Judge throws out DJ’s case against Taylor Swift

Unstoppable pop juggernaut Taylor Swift claimed another victory today, with a judge throwing out a lawsuit from a DJ alleging that Swift cost him his job by falsely claiming he grabbed her butt during a photo meet-and-greet. The trial was expected to last another several days, but a judge tossed out David Mueller’s case today, stating that he had no way of proving that Swift caused him to be fired from his radio job after the two met in 2013.

Mueller was suing Swift for $3 million, while the pop star was counter-suing him for $1, largely to make a point about harassment and assault. Swift took the stand herself yesterday, blasting Mueller’s actions as intentional, and telling the defense “I am critical of your client for sticking his hand under my skirt and grabbing my ass.”
