Kiefer Sutherland may return to yelling at people on TV
Although Kiefer Sutherland is still intent on shooting the 24 movie in eight months or so, give or take 12 months, he appears to be hedging his bets by considering a return to series television with Fox’s Touch. As reported earlier, the show from Heroes creator Tim Kring focuses on a father who discovers that his mute, autistic son can predict the future, leading to all sorts of wide-ranging complications. Said complications will likely necessitate the father yelling at people to get to safety, and then later contemplating the terrible burden he has to bear in stifling silence, while passing the back of his hand dramatically across his stubbled face—and oh, if only his wife weren’t dead. And no one yells at people and then does the tremulous stubble-swipe quite like Kiefer Sutherland.
