Who he is: Lash, a.k.a. Andrew Garner
His power: As an Inhuman, Lash possess superhuman strength and durability, along with an incredibly rapid healing ability. He also has the power to release powerful blasts in the form of superheated blue energy, which can blow holes in walls and people’s chests with equal facility.
His story: Andrew Garner was a psychologist and S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Melinda May’s ex-husband, occasionally called in to consult by the agency. However, during an attempt to rekindle their romance, Garner was hit by Terrigen Mist, triggering the development of his Inhuman powers and transformation into Lash. Eventually, Garner could somewhat control his transformations, but was not in control when in his Lash form, where he was committed to hunting and killing other Inhumans. He was eventually caught by S.H.I.E.L.D., but soon escaped, with the Lash persona becoming more and more dominant. After surrendering to S.H.I.E.L.D. so he could say goodbye to May, Garner transformed into Lash to rescue Daisy Johnson and release her from Hive’s control, but was killed immediately afterward by Hellfire.
