Link wooks wike a wittle baby in Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time remake

After finally settling which of The Legend Of Zelda‘s main characters was the boy, Nintendo is gearing up to release a remake of the franchise’s most beloved entry: The Ocarina Of Time. Building on A Link To The Past‘s time travel mechanics, the original Nintendo 64 game let gamers play as Link throughout time, traveling alongside him as he went from boy to man. For the remake, they’re making sure players know old from young and have deaged Link even further, so the nine-year-old Link looks like a sword-wielding toddler. He’s adorable in the first gameplay trailer released today and will no doubt inspire plenty of cute plushies for Universal’s Super Mario World theme park.

But Link’s finely detailed young face isn’t the only thing changed in a game that will surely inspire this writer to purchase a Switch 2. In the words of Navi, “Hey listen!” you can finally hear Zelda, Ganondorf, and Darunia speak in their native tongues. Moreover, players will finally get a voice in Hyrule via the Switch 2’s microphone. Players can blow into the mic to play all the Ocarina classics, like “Epona’s Song,” “Zelda’s Lullaby,” and “Minuet Of Forest.”

The game looks like a must-have for Zelda fans, who will be able to blow their hearts out as young Link when the game releases on November 5, 2026.
