After six seasons, five books, and a whole football stadium’s worth of corpses, Game Of Thrones can get a little hard to follow. Luckily, HBO is sympathetic to your woes, as you try to tell your Lancels from your Lyannas and your White Walkers from your Red Priests. The premium network has just offered up a handy summary of the first five seasons of its violent epic, and it’s found the perfect narrator to walk you through the show’s convoluted twists and turns: Samuel L. Jackson.
Speaking with the fast-talking enthusiasm of a guy yelling you through the series at a bar, Jackson lays it all out in about 7 minutes. It’s a pretty good summary, too, hitting all the salient points of the show—breaking down Dany’s plot line to “Mo’ power, mo problems,” and Bran Stark’s to “Bran? Bran’s trippin’”—while also getting in some classic Samuel L. Jackson-style yelling about these motherfucking dragons.
