Let your imagination run wild with these Twin Peaks episode descriptions
In less than a week, the door to the Black Lodge will open as Showtime airs the long-awaited and highly anticipated premiere of Twin Peaks season three. Director David Lynch has stated that his prequel film Fire Walk With Me is essential to understanding the new season, and Showtime CEO David Nevins has promised fans “the pure heroin version of David Lynch,” so we know shit’s about to get weird. But beyond that, we have only the vaguest hints of what’s actually going to happen on the show.
Fan site Welcome To Twin Peaks has been working overtime trying to unravel the mystery, and yesterday it uncovered eight new clues as to the content of the series. Those would be Showtime’s episode descriptions for the new season, which were recently added to the network site. Here they are:
Part 1: My log has a message for you.
Part 2: The stars turn and a time presents itself.
Part 3: Call for help.
Part 4: …brings back some memories.
Part 5: Case files.
Part 6: Don’t die.
Part 7: There’s a body all right.
Part 8: Gotta light?
What, you expected something substantive? If it’s any consolation, the wait isn’t much longer now: Sunday, May 21, the first two parts will air back-to-back on Showtime, with parts three and four available immediately after on demand. The remaining episodes will air on June 4, 11, 18, and 25, respectively.
