But even though apocalypse is definitely in the air these days, none of that stuff happened; instead, all of the fans who played their Lost numbers (which, frankly, they’ve probably been doing for years now) netted themselves around $150 when the numbers paid off. Well, sort of paid off: The actual winning sequence was 4, 8, 15, 25, 47, and 42, but those matching four numbers were enough to get them something, if not a life-destroying fortune. In another eerie coincidence, the two jackpot-winning tickets representing $177.5 million each have been described as a “near-record sum”—just like Hurley’s jackpot was on Lost. It’s all coming true!
