It looks like Xena and Gabrielle’s fairy-tale wedding will have to remain in the realm of fan fiction as Deadline reports that Lucy Lawless has called a mulligan on her promises of a Xena: Warrior Princess reboot. The whole thing seemed to be moving along nicely, with The Hollywood Reporter appearing to confirm that a reboot of the fantasy series was actually happening the same day as Lawless teased the possibility in an interview. Maybe a little too nicely, as Lawless promptly walked back her (rather assertive) comments on Twitter later that day:
