This summer’s Ant-Man And The Wasp finally brought Evangeline Lilly’s Wasp to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, three years after the mid-credits scene in Ant-Man teased her appearance.

But the suit teased at the end of the movie (pictured above) is quite different than the suit fans ended up seeing in Ant-Man And The Wasp. We spoke with Marvel’s Visual Development team and the film’s director, Peyton Reed, to find how how and why the Wasp suit was updated.
