Meridian announces new album, streams title track
Max Stern is quickly proving himself a rather prolific songwriter. Last year, his band Signals Midwest released Light On The Lake, all the while Stern was prepping for the sophomore album from his folkier project, Meridian. The resulting record is The Cathedral, an album that expands upon the singer-songwriter approach of Meridian’s debut Aging Truths, but maintains the urgency that Stern so often deals in with Signals Midwest. Youth Conspiracy Records will be releasing The Cathedral this August, and The A.V. Club is premiering the title track below.
