Mickey Rourke sorry he admitted that his new movie is terrible
Not surprisingly, Mickey Rourke is already apologizing for his recent, candid admission to Vulture that Passion Play may not be the coherent, compelling film you’d expect from a film involving a jazz hepcat rescuing a stripper-angel from a gangster. But as Vulture itself notes, unlike some other celebrities who have briefly allowed themselves one moment of honesty in an endless procession of scripted artificiality, then backtracked by blaming everyone but themselves, Rourke has completely owned up to calling the film “terrible,” which is admirable. Yet even though he admits he slighted writer-director Mitch Glazer’s “dream project” and smirked over co-star Megan Fox’s acting abilities, he hopes to make amends. Rourke says to Vulture:
