No-Show Milk Hotel

Sorry, fans of mumbly majestic genius: Neutral Milk Hotel is not reuniting to play the so-called Tiny Mix Tapes Festival in August. Turns out, it was all a hoax perpetrated by tinymixtapes.com as an early April Fools joke — an attempt, no doubt, to get people to repost the prank and check out their site.

Doh.

The good news? All you cruddy indie-rock bands can keep ripping off Neutral Milk's Jeff Mangum without fear of him blowing you off the map for the foreseeable future.
