The reverberations of the White House travel ban could be felt not just on our Facebook feeds this past weekend but also in many facets of popular culture. Uber, Starbucks, Sia, even MC Hammer stepped into the political fray.

The most visible defiance within pop culture was on display at Sunday’s Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony, in which a number of winners used their speech time to speak up against the policy. A.V. Club editors Katie Rife and Kevin Pang relived some of the more memorable moments from the SAG Awards.
