Outlander: Blood Of My Blood gets sweaty on the battlefield in season 2 teaser

As this season two teaser released by Starz shows us, much can interfere with unbridled, face-mashing ardor—none so prominently as the, um, mounting Jacobite Uprising, where duty, sacrifice, and clan loyalties disrupt infrequent rolls in the hay between Brian (Jamie Roy) and Ellen (Harriet Slater). Meanwhile, the climactic rift at Craigh Na Dun last season between Julia (Hermione Corfield) and Henry (Jeremy Irvine) only deepens, with Henry “[grappling] with his mental health, as he fights to find his way back to Julia, who is forced to return to Castle Leathers and contend with her sinister husband, Lord Lovat,” per Starz’s logline.
