President Obama made the right executive decision that Nicki Minaj was joking about Romney endorsement, Minaj confirms

The controversy over whether Nicki Minaj really offered her endorsement of presidential candidate Mitt Romney, and genuinely credited America's economic woes to "lazy bitches"—or was, in fact, just a rapper marking time in her 600th mixtape verse of the year by looking for yet another way to say, "I'm rich"—has at last reached the highest office in the land, where it was once again considered thoughtfully instead of just answered with a shaming, "What?" Anyway, no, President Obama does not think that Minaj is in the tank for Mitt Romney: "I think she had a song on there, a little rap that said that, but she likes to play different characters," Obama said in a recent radio interview with Orlando's Power 953, presumably before introducing the next Waka Flocka Flame cut.

And with Obama himself offering an official clarification on Minaj's propensity for alter egos, like we elected him to do, Minaj finally felt it was time to weigh in herself on the "controversy" that has netted her death threats and a whole lot of attention, tweeting, "Ha! Thank you for understanding my creative humor & sarcasm Mr. President, the smart ones always do… *sends love & support*" (This in lieu of actually voting, which she still can't do.) Minaj then celebrated the fact that her searing political satire had become a matter of national interest, saying, "Awesome!
