Reggie Dinkins' Hall Of Fame quest breaks hilarious new ground in exclusive trailer for season 2

After somehow receiving four votes for the Hall Of Fame, Tracy Morgan’s disgraced NFL star Reggie Dinkins is looking to take his comeback to the next level in the show’s second season. As Erika Alexander’s loyal agent/ex-wife Monica states at the start of this exclusive full trailer for the Robert Carlock and Sam Means created sitcom, “Getting a few votes for the Hall Of Fame didn’t suddenly make things go back to the way it was. But some things have changed.”

Thankfully for viewers of this endearingly funny ensemble comedy, the series’ core of wacky, Morgan-fronted hijinks, expert Daniel Radcliffe double-takes, and slyly trenchant observations on fame, sports, and gambling culture appears intact. Reggie looks to capitalize on his PR momentum with unboxing videos (“It’s air conditioning filters, fam!”), Radcliffe’s equally on-the-outs documentarian Arthur Tobin relishes the “handsome new blood” represented by Monica’s new love interest Boris Kodjoe (even Bobby Moynihan’s trusty sidekick Rusty can’t resist his impossible hunkiness), and Reggie and Arthur’s intertwined road back to former glory still looks as hilariously bumpy as ever. (Reggie’s TV appearance alongside an unruly ferret—masterminded by Monica’s new assistant played by SNL‘s Jeremy Culhane—goes about as well as you’d expect.)

The Tina Fey-produced The Fall And Rise Of Reggie Dinkins returns to NBC on November 2 and streams the next day on Peacock. Take a look at the full trailer and some new first-look images below.
