You asked for it, voters, and you got it: Our book-club discussion of Glen David Gold’s Carter Beats The Devil begins one week from today. Among other things, we’ll be talking about the book’s take on history, technology, magic, and particularly its complicated, obsessive protagonist, illusionist Carter The Great. We hope you’ll come join us for the daily discussions throughout the week, and for a live chat with staff participants on Thursday, March 10th.

This will be the last Wrapped Up In Books discussion for a while; we’re putting the feature on hiatus for a bit while we work on some site-support issues that will hopefully make our book club easier to find, to keep track of, and to participate in.
