A Minnesota jury awarded the RIAA a whopping $1.92 million in its case against a woman whose kids downloaded and shared 24 songs on Kazaa. Billboard has the whole story, naturally. I don't know what the solution is, but this does seem like one of those things that will inspire more piracy rather than less, doesn't it?
