Who he is: Ronan The Accuser
His power: Ronan is a Kree, meaning he possesses enhanced strength, endurance, agility, and healing capabilities. He also possesses a war hammer capable of firing energy blasts.
His story: Among the alien Kree race, Ronan The Accuser is a radical zealot, and at the beginning of Guardians Of The Galaxy, he is furious about the peace treaty signed by the Kree and the planet Xandar. He cuts a deal with Thanos to destroy Xandar in exchange for getting him an orb—which contains the power stone, one of the six infinity stones in the universe—but upon acquiring the orb, Ronan betrays Thanos, choosing to keeps its power for himself. He launches an attack upon Xandar, destroying much of the Nova Corps fleet, but is eventually defeated when the Guardians (Peter Quill, Gamora, Drax The Destroyer, and Rocket Raccoon) steal back the power stone and use it to kill Ronan.
