Ryan Gosling to produce a live-action Flintstones movie of a different generation

Bamm-Bamm, who is the adopted son of Barney and Betty Rubble, was previously the focus of an animated series in the early 1970s with Fred and Wilma Flintstone’s daughter Pebbles. That was called, naturally, The Pebbles And Bamm-Bamm Show. Bamm-Bamm’s adoption was also featured in the 1994 live-action Flintstones film, where he generally behaves like a menace and helps plunge his parents into financial trouble. He wasn’t featured in the 2000 prequel film The Flintstones In Viva Rock Vegas, which bombed hard enough to effectively close the door on the notion of a live action Flintstones film for the past 26 years. But perhaps Gosling has enough goodwill for a more modern take on a modern Stone Age family.
