Samira Wiley marries Orange Is The New Black writer Lauren Morelli

In a match made in prestige-TV heaven, former Orange Is The New Black star Samira Wiley married Orange Is The New Black writer Lauren Morelli over the weekend. Wiley shared a picture of the couple’s wedding finery on Instagram:

According to Martha Stewart Weddings, the festivities sounded darn fun: The theme was “confetti” because the pair really likes Funfetti cake, and the music choices were delightful. (The two exited the ceremony to Montell Jordan’s ”This Is How We Do It” and entered the reception to Justin Bieber’s “Baby.”)

Back in 2014, Morelli published an essay on Mic about how writing for Orange helped her come out as gay. Wiley—whose character departed the most recent season of the Netflix drama in an episode penned by her now-wife—next stars in The Handmaid’s Tale on Hulu.
