It's that time of year again, when "best of" lists get passed around the blogosphere like so much herpes, allowing commenters from one site to rip on the clearly inferior opinions of another. In that spirit—and since we've already launched our own hall of mirrors with our much-debated Best Of Music list (if by "debate" you mean "calling us predictable")—we're passing on Stereogum's annual 2007 Gummy Awards honoring "indie rock hotties." The results are something less than revelatory: Apparently, indie rock dudes get a total cred-on for super-skinny white girls, while indie rock ladies mostly like 'em tall, bony, and shaggy (with a few notable exceptions like James Murphy, which gives some of us A.V. Club writers reason to strut). We now present you with perhaps the only list that asks you to consider the relative sexiness of Deerhunter's Bradford Cox and Les Savy Fav's Tim Harrington.
Oh, also apparently Jodie Foster is gay.
