The Stranger Things kids explain Eleven's whole deal to a new character voiced by Odessa A'zion.

A normal, stable Hawkins obviously cannot last in full Stranger Things: Tales From '85 trailer

If you thought for one minute that Hawkins, Indiana might be cool and normal in the time between Stranger Things seasons, the trailer for Stranger Things: Tales Of ’85 is here to set the record straight. Set between seasons two and three of the original series, the animated Tales Of ’85 seeks to fill in whatever gaps may exist in the live-action series. Apparently, those gaps are also full of monsters, though it’s a little unclear whether they’re from the Upside Down, Hawkins Lab, or somewhere else entirely based on the series’ new trailer. In any case, Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, and Max just seem happy to have something new to do during their cold, midwest winter.

Tales From ’85 will also introduce some new, presumably one-off characters, given that Marty Supreme‘s Odessa A’zion isn’t in the original Stranger Things. Here, she voices Nikki Baxer, someone with a punk haircut chased by the monster in question. Janeane Garofalo and Lou Diamond Phillips also join the voice cast as Anna Baxter and Daniel Fischer, along with 80s icon Robert Englund appearing as Cosmo. Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 will premiere on Netflix on April 23 with 10 30-minute episodes. Fans who are interested can also catch the first two episodes a couple of days early in select AMC theaters.
