Strong Bad is back to destroy the Internet’s April Fool’s Day fun

One year ago today, Homestar Runner re-emerged from the darkness with a website update and some sweet, sweet Windows 98 sounds. Today, in honor of/opposition to April Fool’s Day, “the day the Internet gets on the Internet to make inside jokes about the Internet,” Homestar and pals are back, this time in the form of a new Strong Bad e-mail. Armed with a new, compressed, Lappier version of Compé, the masked curmudgeon takes on websites that turn all old timey for the “holiday,” horrible fake movie trailers, and fake ads for nerd culture products that don’t really exist, like the Trogdor beefy arm backpack. Even the burninator’s got to pay some bills, after all.
