Ted star Giovanni Ribisi to reunite with Seth MacFarlane for a new Fox show about wacky dads

Giovanni Ribisi has signed on to star in Seth MacFarlane’s new Dads show. He’ll co-star with Seth Green, and is replacing Tommy Dewey, who is in the pilot shot last week. He’ll play Warner, the co-owner of a video game company whose life is twist-turned upside down after his dad, played by Martin Mull, moves back in with him.

As The Hollywood Reporter notes, this marks Ribisi’s reunion with MacFarlane, as well as Ted writers Alex Sulkin and Wellesley Wild. Ribisi played Ted’s kidnapper, Donny, in the film last year, and is set to work with the trio on their upcoming Western comedy as well.
