Who she is: The Ancient One, Sorcerer Supreme up until her death
Her power: Same powers as the other Masters Of The Mystic Arts, but she’s way stronger with those powers than pretty much anyone else thanks to her use of Dark Dimension magic.
Her story: The Ancient One ran Kamar-Taj, a magic school where she and her followers would teach others how to use the mystic arts to protect their world from threats that can’t simply be punched to death. At some point, she began pulling power from Dormammu’s Dark Dimension, allowing her to live forever and continue her work. When a student named Kaecilius discovered this, he quit her order and launched his own renegade group that sought to access the power of Dormammu for themselves. She trained Karl Mordo, Wong, and Stephen Strange to stop them, but she was eventually killed by Kaecilius.
