The Chemical Brothers thrill Europe by announcing a new LP

The Chemical Brothers, Europe’s coolest musical band, have announced a new record. Born In The Echoes is due July 17 on Astralwerks and is the group’s first original album in five years, although the Brothers have released both a live album and the soundtrack to the movie Hanna since. Guests on the record include St. Vincent, Beck, Cate Le Bon, Ali Love, and Q-Tip, who’ll guest on the forthcoming first single, “Go.” In a recent interview with Resident Advisor, the group’s Tom Rowlands said the record is “pure Chemical Brothers,” though the group generally “hopes for finding a new way to make you feel.”
