The director of Iron Sky 2 will take any feedback he can get
Crowd-funded script feedback is usually a one-way sort of affair, as backers pay for the privilege of allowing some famous screenwriter to scribble red ink all over their magnum opus. But Iron Sky: The Coming Race, a.k.a. Moon Nazis Must Fly, is taking the opposite tack by asking supporters of its successful Indiegogo campaign for their notes on the script.
Director Timo Vuorensola has sent a copy of screenwriter Dalan Musson’s script to more than 1,000 people, with instructions to send feedback on the script and any other development ideas to them by November 1. Vuorensola, who is hoping to fund Iron Sky: The Coming Race entirely through crowd-funding and other independent means, says:
“We’ve always been pioneering on with ideas other filmmakers shun upon, and sending the script to the fans is definitely an ultimate one of them. Still, we retain a tight control over the process, and only the best and strongest feedback makes it to the film.”
Feedback like this?
-Needs more “Reich stuff” puns
-Extend battle scenes by re-using Star Wars footage
-Nazi space werewolves vs. Nazi space vampires
-Nazi makeover montage
-Maybe a moon Stalin?
Call us, Timo.
