The Following racks up its body count
Here’s what’s up in the world of TV for Monday, March 2. All times are Eastern.
Top pick
The Following (Fox, 9 p.m.): The Following is more or less a default top pick for tonight, as it returns with its third season premiere. Joe Carroll is nowhere to be seen, but plenty of people get killed, because if there’s one thing you can count on when it comes to The Following it’s the fact that its body count is always on the rise. Coherent storytelling, on the other hand, is not something you can count on.
Also noted
Better Call Saul (AMC, 10 p.m.): On “Alpine Shepherd Boy,” Jimmy has to make a difficult choice! It’ll be hard to top last week’s episode, but Better Call Saul has been on quite the roll.
House Of Cards (Netflix): Maybe you’ve already slammed your way through all of season three of House Of Cards or maybe you’re being a major slacker about it. But The A.V. Club serves up a double dose of Cards coverage today, with a review of the whole season by Joshua Alston, who was very busy chipping away at the world of Frank Underwood all weekend. Then Scott Von Doviak kicks off episode-by-episode coverage today for TV Club with two reviews every Monday and Friday until we’re at the end.
Regular coverage
Gotham (Fox, 8 p.m.)
Star Wars Rebels (Disney XD, 9 p.m.)
