The Killers have been laying low since cancelling tour dates in Australia and Asia earlier this year following the death of Brandon Flowers' mother. But the frontman has been keeping himself occupied; as reported by Billboard, Flowers has a solo album on the way. Titled Flamingo, the disc was announced via the band's website (as well as the newly established brandonflowersmusic.com) with a page that says only that the album exists and is "coming soon." A clip of instrumental, Killers-esque music accompanies said page. The status of The Killers in the wake of this news is anyone's guess, although Flowers and crew did stress after their tour cancellations in February that the band was well and fine, just taking a break.
