The live-action Pokémon movie catches its director
After a long, grueling recruitment process—presumably involving lots of physical attacks, status conditions, and attempts to stuff him into a little plastic ball—Goosebumps director Rob Letterman has signed on for Detective Pikachu, the first live-action Pokémon film. Deadline reports that Letterman joins a creative roster already packed with talent, including a Gravity Falls Creator-type, Alex Hirsch, and Guardians Of The Galaxy scribe Nicole Perlman, who comes equipped with the powerful “Pen Billion Dollar Screenplay” technique.
