Dowd and staff writer Ignatiy Vishnevetsky sit down to discuss Steven Spielberg’s new film, The Post, about The Washington Post’s role in the 1971 publication of a leaked history of the United States’ operations in Vietnam. The film, which stars Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks, has already been fêted for its portrayal of journalistic principles, but our two critics were less then impressed by its stage-bound drama.
