The trailer for Disney’s live-action Christopher Robin movie—not to be confused with Goodbye Christopher Robin, the unintentionally hilarious A.A. Milne biopic released last year—dropped this morning, and it looks like it’s going to be a harrowing psychological horror movie in the Repulsion vein, starring Ewan McGregor as an overworked businessman who descends into psychosis after his wife and children go away for a weekend in the country, leaving him alone with his increasingly disturbing visions of a talking bear. Either that, it’s about wonder and imagination and childhood and all that.
Given that this is a Disney production, we’re going to guess the latter. We’ll find out for sure when Christopher Robin hits theaters sometime in the indeterminate “soon.”
