The Walking Dead will split its second season in two
AMC has announced that the second, Frank Darabont-free season of The Walking Dead will be split into two halves, with the first seven episodes airing this fall and the leftover six debuting February 12. The break ensures that zombies won’t be allowed to befoul the sanctity of the holidays, while also giving viewers another chance to express irrational hatred toward AMC executives if they so wish, as it’s been a couple of weeks. Also confirmed is that the premiere episode will, like last year’s debut, run 90 minutes, at least 20 of which will likely consist of people just sort of staring morosely at each other like they just can’t believe all these zombies, you know? Yes, we know.
