Interpol is releasing its first record of the post-Carlos D era. El Pintor (The Painter) will hit stores Sept. 9 via Matador and—not unlike Spoon’s upcoming effort—it finds the band back together after a self-imposed break. El Pintor was recorded in the UK and features members of The Secret Machines, Bon Iver, and Beck’s touring band. Interested parties can pre-order El Pintor via iTunes, Matador, or Interpol’s site.
