Tom Holland will probably make $100 million from Brand New Day alone

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is a huge, runaway hit. Within days, it became the highest-grossing film of 2026, and crossed $2 billion at the global box office within just three weeks. As of this writing, it’s the eighth-highest-grossing film in history, and it shows no signs of stopping. This obviously is not just a big payday for Disney and Marvel, but for Spidey himself, Tom Holland. A new report from The Wrap reveals a bit more about his payday, which is likely to exceed $100 million.

According to the outlet, there’s no cap on Holland’s backend box office bonus, so as long as the film continues to make money, so will he. His base salary from Brand New Day is said to be at least $20 million—up from an estimated $10 million from 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, and way up from the $250,000 he earned from his first outing as Spider-Man ten years ago in Captain America: Civil War. A source told The Wrap that Holland will make “at least” $100 million from this outing and, again, that’s after just three weeks in theaters.

And that’s to say nothing of what Holland may have earned from his appearance in The Odyssey. Nothing official has been reported on that front and Holland isn’t the lead, but given that that film has also made well over $1 billion, it feels safe to assume the actor will leave (or stay indefinitely in) Ithaca with another eight-figure pay day. With that kind of money, the 30-year-old Holland would probably never have to work again, though we’re almost certain Disney and Marvel won’t let that happen.
