Lost‘s J.J. Abrams and Josh Holloway head to Southwest in Duster, an early-’70s-set thriller that follows the FBI’s first Black female agent, Nina (Rachel Hilson), as she tries to capture a crime-syndicate leader (played by Keith David) with the help of his trusted getaway driver, Jim (Holloway). The A.V. Club will recap the show weekly.
Alexander Skarskård takes on the titular bot in this adaptation of Martha Wells’ sci-fi book series, a partly biological security cyborg who hides a free-thinking ability and completes dangerous tasks—all while trying not to figure out these humans around it. The ensemble also features DeWanda Wise, Jack McBrayer, David Dastmalchian, Noma Dumezweni, Sabrina Wu, and John Cho. The A.V. Club will recap the series weekly.

Stand-up Tom Segura directs and stars in this own dark, six-episode comedy, which features vignettes that explore—you guessed it—his bad thoughts. Expect drop-ins from the likes of Dan Stevens, Rachel Bloom, and Shea Wigham. The A.V. Club‘s review publishes Tuesday.
Fred And Rose West: A British Horror Story (Netflix, Wednesday, 3:01 a.m.)
Netflix adds to its vast true-crime library with this three-part docuseries, which unpack the horrifying case of Fred and Rose West, a British couple who were found guilty of murdering at least 10 girls and women in 1995.
In Benito Skinner’s Overcompensating, the comedian plays a closeted college footballer who befriends an outsider and tries to fit in on campus. The show boasts an impressive supporting cast, including Kyle MacLachlan and Connie Britton, and Charli XCX, Megan Fox, Bowen Yang, and James Van Der Beek make guest appearances.
