will.i.am to work on Michael Jackson comeback
Billboard is reporting that Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am—the man responsible for unleashing "My Humps" and many other excruciating songs on the world—has begun preliminary work with Michael Jackson for yet another comeback album by the deposed King of Pop. Will.i.am had this to say:
"Man, he still sings like a bird. He could go anywhere. I think we have a real opportunity to do something here. It's either gonna be really big or nobody's gonna care. Ain't no middle ground on this one."
The new Jackson album is expected by the end of the year on his new label, Two Seas Records. Never heard of it? That's because it's based in Bahrain and run by Abdulla Hamad Al-Khalifa. Jackson has been living in the Middle Eastern country since he was acquitted of child-molestation charges in 2005.
