The plane crash survivors turned cannibals at the center of Yellowjackets are finally back home in Wiskayok, New Jersey, but they’re not much better off. On Wednesday, Paramount+ released the first teaser trailer for the psychological horror’s fourth and final season, hinting at a reckoning rather than a happy homecoming. The eerie teaser is set to Alanis Morissette’s “Ironic” and opens with the survivors starting at the beginning of their story, recalling the plane crash that killed their friends, leaving the rest of them to stave, scavenge, and pray (which is putting their horrific experience lightly) until they were finally rescued. The official logline reads: “They’re finally home, but at what cost? The official teaser for the fourth and final season of Yellowjackets teases the survivors home at last, and haunted by the price of getting out alive.”
