A couple of years back, Zoë Kravitz and Robert Pattinson teamed up to play costumed weirdos who split their time between striking and smooching each other, untangling a perverse web of murder, familial connections, and tension in Matt Reeves’ The Batman. Now, they’re teaming up to produce a movie together. Hitting the back half of 30 changes people, y’all.
Specifically, Deadline reports that Kravitz—still considered one of Hollywood’s top reasons to try to remember how to generate that e with the umlaut over it—is in talks to direct her second film. (Following last year’s “No, seriously, don’t trust fucking tech bros” thriller Blink Twice.) The film, working from a script by largely untested writer Ross Evans, is apparently titled How To Save A Marriage. Pattinson actually reportedly attached himself to the project as a producer first, with Sony bringing Kravitz in after being happy with her edgy and subversive take on Blink Twice. Official plot details on the project are minimal, although the script has apparently been floating around long enough for there to be at least one spoiler-y synopsis floating around online that suggests it’s about two members of an unhappy marriage who go to some, let’s say, extreme lengths to keep the romance alive.
There’s no casting info out yet, so it’s not clear if Pattinson has plans to also appear in the film. He’s a newcomer to the producing game, with his only previous credit being an EP title on his 2010 “Young love can survive anything (except 9/11)” romantic drama Remember Me. He and Kravitz are also expected to reunite on camera for The Batman Part II, set for an October 2027 release date.
