We’re now a good month into what’s felt like a lackluster summer-blockbuster season so far. (See ya, After Earth, The Hangover III, The Great Gatsby. Eyeing you warily, Pacific Rim and Planes.) As a sort of power-wash for our readers’ cinematic palates, The A.V. Club looked through roughly 30 blockbusters of summers past to assemble a supercut of memorable moments. (Note we didn’t say good.
