Now, a very, very short song titled “Steve’s Lava Chicken” is clucking its way into the history books.
Apparently, if you want your movie to have a viral hit, the key is to just let Jack Black do his thing. “Steve’s Lava Chicken,” a jingle containing only about three dozen words, just broke into the Billboard Hot 100at number 77. At a mere 34 seconds, it’s now the shortest song to ever make the list. Kid Cudi previously wore the crown for his 37-second “Beautiful Trip,” per Stereogum.
